Builder Bash 2026: More Than a Night Out
HBA Lake Sumter - Jennifer PryorTuesday, September 29, 2026
Builder Bash is always a fun night for HBA of Lake-Sumter members, but this year's event was also a great example of what happens when our members get behind the Association and the work we do together.

Members came out in a big way for Builder Bash 2026, supporting the event through ticket sales, sponsorships, the silent auction and plenty of friendly competition along the way.
This year's $7,500 Grand Prize was split among three winners: Spencer D. Davis, Craig Smith of Carolina Atlantic, and Garrett Jackson of Hauff Homes. John Knop of RoMac Building Supply also set a new Builder Bash record, selling an incredible 107 tickets.
One of the best moments of the evening came when 50/50 winner Phil Fern of Kevco Builders donated his winnings back to HBA ProBuild, our partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter to help build a home for a local veteran family in Eustis. It was an unexpected gesture that captured the spirit of what our members have brought to the ProBuild project from the beginning.
The evening also included a silent auction benefiting the HBA PAC, along with plenty of opportunities for members to spend time together outside of meetings, committees and the day-to-day demands of our industry.
Events like Builder Bash wouldn't happen without the members and businesses willing to support them. Thank you to Inspect FL, our Title Sponsor; Cecil Clark Chevrolet, our Dessert Sponsor; and Jeremy with Hauff Homes, who created the charcuterie board centerpieces that 27 lucky guests took home.
And thank you to everyone who sold tickets, donated or purchased silent auction items, volunteered, sponsored, attended or helped behind the scenes. Builder Bash may only happen one night a year, but the support generated through it helps the HBA continue its work throughout the year.
That's what makes Builder Bash about more than just the prizes — it's members supporting their Association, their industry and their community.
